Since the only way to place controls other than the standard buttons, check-boxes and radio buttons in a dialog is to place references to CNTL resources in the dialog item list, the PICT Control Builder is here included to make your life a little easier.
The builder allows you to create, edit and delete CNTL resources in a manner better suited to PICT Controls than that provided by ResEdit. You will still need ResEdit to add the CNTL based items to dialog item lists and to arrange the dialogs, etc. The builder just makes the tedious work of creating all of those CNTL resources significantly less tedious.
The builder has two components: the Resource Chooser and the actual CNTL Editor it invokes. These are documented on the following pages.
